CURRENTLY:
Just finished playing ‘the writer’ in the English National Opera production of TURANDOT at the Colliseum, and filming MACBETH on location for BBC films and PBS in America.
Theatre credits include: De Guiche in Cyrano de Bergerac (with Joseph Fiennes, directed by Trevor Nunn), Malcolm in Macbeth, (with Patrick Stewart. chichester festival theatre, then west end, then BAM and then Broadway) Jesus in Son of Man (Northern Stage. Nominated for Performance of the Year, N East Culture Awards 2006), Trigorin in The Seagull (Bristol Old Vic), title role in Faustus (Royal Theatre Northampton and Hampstead), Peter Cook in Come Again (Assembly Rooms), Arthur in Teeth and Smiles (Sheffield Crucible), Horatio in Hamlet (Bouffes du Nord and world tour), David in Victoria, Orsino in Twelfth Night, Bassanio in The Merchant of Venice and Ariel in The Tempest ( all RSC), Sandy Tyrrell in Hay Fever (tour/West End), Ferdinand in The Duchess of Malfi (Nominated for Ian Charleston Award) and Orlando in As You Like It ( all Cheek by Jowl/world tour) and Eric in the first west end production of the 1992 National theatre production of An Inspector Calls (Aldwych).
Television credits include playing MICHAL LASKI in film of ‘MISS IRENE’S CHILDREN’ in Latvia. for CBS and HALLMARK channel. with Anna Paquin as Miss Irene.
